Overview – Dolby Atmos 4K Cinema Room – Gold Package

This Dolby Atmos 4K cinema room system is a complete 4K laser projector based home cinema room package. It includes a complete set of equipment as well as careful planning and installation. This system features Dolby Atmos audio format with an 7.2.4 speaker configuration. This is combined with a Sony 4K SXRD home cinema projector to deliver ground breaking images and 3 dimensional sound.

Dolby Atmos 4K Cinema Room – What is Dolby Atmos?

Dolby Atmos is a major step forward in cinema sound, many different speaker combinations are defined within the Dolby Atmos format. This Dolby Atmos 4K Cinema room package uses an 7.2.4 speaker configuration which is similar to a conventional 5.1.2 speaker layout, with the addition of 2 in ceiling speakers to provide sound which envelopes the audience. In the Dolby Atmos format, Sounds are no longer regarded as belonging to a particular speaker channel. Each individual sound within the mix is defined in terms of where it should appear to come from within the 3 dimensional space in the room. The Dolby Atmos enabled AV Receiver or processor knows the positions of the speakers within the particular room and it uses this information in real time to channel proportions of each individual sound to the speakers in such a way as to recreate a 3 dimensional soundstage which envelopes the audience. The individual sounds are able to move around the room independently of one another. The result is 3 dimensional sound which is truly staggering. Dolby Atmos has been adopted in commercial cinemas and it has been embraced by the film industry with a great number of titles in production. Many recent movies have been made in Dolby Atmos although they have generally not included the Dolby Atmos sound on their current Blu-Ray release, this is set to change with many movies soon to be released on Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos sound. We have designed this Dolby Atmos 4K Cinema Room package to deliver 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos sound and outstanding images.

Package description – Dolby Atmos 4K Cinema Room – Gold Package

UK Home Cinemas Dolby Atmos 4k cinema room gold package includes the Sony VPL-VW790ES 4K laser projector. This SXRD projector is able to deliver stunning 4K images as well as conventional 1080P images and of course 3D.  The 3D glasses and 3D sync transmitter are optional. We will give you a choice of various  projector brackets including a flush ceiling mount which places the projector directly on the ceiling.

We will of course tailor the screen to the size of your particular room, but for the purpose of illustrating what you get for your money we have based the package price (below) on a 136 inch 16:9 fixed frame screen.

This Dolby Atmos 4K cinema room package features a separate 7.2.4 channel  and a Anthem 11 channel AV amplifier. The AV amplifier is 4K compatible. it allows you to connect your Spotify account and many other web streaming services.

We can of course provide more or less any makes or models of speakers , but the package price below is based upon a set of 11 KEF THX extreme home theatres speaker range and two subwoofers.  

As an option for the dolby atmos 4K cinema room system, we can provide user friendly and comprehensive control from a control4 EA1 controller control processor with control4 latest remote control the Neeo with touch screen interface. It provides user friendly control of the system as a whole as well as detailed full feature control for all of the individual pieces of equipment including client supplied source devices such as your satellite or other TV receiver boxes. We provide control of your room lighting via wireless dimmers which we install as part of the service. The package prices below include all fixings cables and installation and several bits and pieces which aren’t pictured but are necessary to make the system work.

Options

Options for our Dolby Atmos 4K Cinema Room Package

Our system packages are examples of what we can install for various budgets, however our clients usually have a preference for a particular type of speakers or a particular projection screen. In order to enable us to deliver these very cost effective system packages efficiently, we do need to keep the core equipment and the main elements of the control system programming constant, (otherwise it would become a bespoke design and build project rather than a package based project). However there are many elements which we do usually change according to each client’s preference whilst remaining within the framework of a package based project.

The main items which are changed according to client preference are:

  • The speaker make and models.
  • The number and types of lighting circuit to be controlled.
  • The size and type of projection screen.
  • The type of mount for the projector.
  • Whether or not the projection screen case needs to be recessed into the ceiling or boxed in.
  • The makes and models of client’s own set top boxes and other equipment to be included in the control system programming.
  • How many rooms are to receive multi room music.

These and various other aspects can be varied according to your preference. We will discuss the project with you and produce a quote for you, based upon the closest package plus or minus any differences according to your requirements.
