Slim bracket for VPL-VW295 – works with lens shift.
The Sony VPL-VW295 projector has an optical lens shift feature. As a result, it is possible to position the projector higher (or lower) than the top of the screen, without causing any distortion to the shape of the projected image. When the projector is used with our ultra low profile bracket for VPL-VW295, the projector can be levelled perfectly. There will be no need to use the dreaded electronic keystone correction to get perfect image geometry. The VPL-VW295’s lens shift control allows the image to be moved up or down, left and right, this enables the installer to align the image perfectly with the position of the screen.
To put it another way there is no reason for you to have an ugly bracket for VPL-VW295 hanging down from the ceiling. Instead you can have your projector directly on the ceiling on our ultra low profile projector bracket for VPL-VW295.
One further advantage of our ultra low profile bracket for VPL-VW295, compared with a regular pole mount is that once the position has been set, the projector is held very rigidly in the correct position. Even when it is touched for example when connectors are plugged in etc the projector doesn’t move or rock.
