A high-end dedicated Private Cinema Room near Newbury, West Berkshire.
This room truly showcases our core capability to design and install outstanding home cinema interiors. It has the audio-visual capabilities to match, boasting a state-of-the-art Dali 9.4.4 system powered by the Anthem MRX 1140 receiver, this system included the front three LCR channels, front wide channels, left and right surround channels and rear channels, alongside four in-ceiling height channels for Dolby ATMOS; when paired with the four subwoofers – it delivered a truly impressive and immersive experience for our clients.
To complement the aesthetics, we meticulously concealed the surround speakers inside custom designed acoustic columns, perfectly aligning with the client’s vision and the overall ambiance of the room.
The centrepiece of the entertainment experience is the expansive 170” inch acoustically transparent 2:35:1 Screen, flawlessly delivering stunning visuals courtesy of the JVC NP5 4K Projector.
Enhancing the home cinema interior design, the dual star ceiling adds an extra dimension of awe and elegance.
All of these components seamlessly integrate together and are effortlessly controlled through a sophisticated Control4 Automation system.
Needless to say, the client was absolutely thrilled with the home cinema interior design and performance, and we were equally delighted with the outcome.
Dedicated Cinema Room Interiors In Hampshire – with Control4 Automation.
We transformed a spacious basement in Hampshire into a cutting-edge Ultra HD home theatre. It showcases a 2.35:1 screen, a Sony 4K projector, 10 comfortable reclining seats, Many of our and home cinema interiors featuring captivating fibre optic star ceilings.
This home cinema combines top-of-the-line equipment with a mix of retro and modern design elements. We collaborated with the client’s interior designer, over several months, prioritising meticulous attention to detail over installation speed.
The completed home theatre measures approximately 6.7 meters in length and slightly over 5 meters in width at its widest point, with an original ceiling height of 2.32 meters.
Our choice of projector, the Sony VPL-VW550, provides ultra HD resolution and essential features like motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift. It also includes lens memories to adjust to various aspect ratios on the 2.35:1 screen while maintaining consistent image height.
We integrated the entire theatre with a single remote, utilising Control4 for a user-friendly and elegant experience. Additionally, clients can control every aspect of the theatre, including room lighting, using their iPhones.
Cinema Room in Sunningdale, Ascot, Surrey.
Our clients sought our expertise in home cinema interiors, to help enhance the lacklustre appearance of their existing home cinema room. The cinema was situated in the basement of their new luxury apartment, but it lacked the wow factor which they desired and failed to align with the overall magnificence and grandeur of the rest of property. After our initial conversations and after taking precise measurements of the room, we embarked on a project to rejuvenate this once bland and lifeless home cinema interior.
With its square layout and lofty ceiling, the room lacked character and felt cavernous. We saw potential in integrating diagonal LED strips within the fabric walls not only enhance the overall ambiance of the home cinema interiors but also to improve both the system and rooms acoustics and create a cosier atmosphere.
However, sometimes it is the installation of a fibre optic star ceiling, which truly breathes new life into home cinema interiors like this one, completely transforming the space and its atmosphere.
Garage Conversion Cinema Room in Camberley, Surrey .
Our client enlisted our help to convert his double garage into a home cinema, which also served as a storage space for household utilities. The garage contained a substantial water tank, pipework, fuse board, and electrical distribution, typical of most garages.
Initially, the client considered constructing a separate room for the utilities, but we recommended enclosing them within a frame with removable fabric panels instead, allowing us to preserve cinema space. This strategy maximized the available space for the cinema room.
We designed a room layout, which included a sound proofed wall at the front which we recessed the screen into and housed low-level AV cabinets below, while minimising sound transmission to neighbouring houses. The front in-wall speakers were then positioned behind the acoustically transparent screen.
Collaborating with the client’s builders, we implemented various aspects of the room design, such as framing around electrical and plumbing utilities and constructing the rear raised floor for seating.
We utilised a track and fabric system to create acoustically transparent panels, allowing us to place speakers behind them. Some panels were designed to be removable for easy access to utilities. To enhance the ambiance, LED strips were installed on the walls and bulkhead, providing dynamic lighting.
Wooden battens discreetly positioned behind the fabric enabled us to hang framed movie posters around the room, adding a personal touch for our clients.

Lounge cinema in Surrey with RTI control and multi-room audio.
We completed this Lounge cinema room in February 2014. The Challenge was to install the system neatly into a cottage, where for various reasons it was not going to be possible to embed cables into the walls or ceiling.
The Ceiling heights were fairly low so it was necessary to ensure that the projector and screen were fixed as discreetly as possible to make the best use of the available space.
The client was particularly keen that the system should be user friendly, so an RTI control processor was specified and an RTI touch screen remote control was custom programmed to provide icon based control for every aspect of viewing and listening.
In the areas where it was impossible to embed the cables into the walls or ceiling various types of curved profile mini and micro trunking were used to the conceal the cables.
Wired internet was available elsewhere in the property and needed to be extended to reach the built in AV cupboard to provide the fastest internet access for the lounge cinema equipment and for on demand services etc, so a cable route was identified in order to achieve this.

A Home Cinema room upgrade in Berkshire.
We completed this dedicated cinema room upgrade in December 2013. The old outdated AV receiver was replaced allowing the client to render newer audio formats from the latest feature films, a new active fibre optic HDMI cabling was run inside the ceiling to the projector, acoustic alignments were carried out and the projector was upgraded to a JVC DLA-X35.
Our client wanted the projected image to be as large as could be achieved within the space available and understandably he wanted the projector to be positioned close to the ceiling. The presence of an RSJ inside the ceiling at the back of the room made it difficult to achieve these objectives, so we custom built a structure just in front of and just below the RSJ to provide a substantial platform to support the projector in it’s ideal position. It was decorated to blend perfectly with the aesthetics of the room and the objectives were achieved. – Our client was delighted and his feedback can be seen below.

This clip also shows how single DLP systems project the primary colours sequentially,(one primary colour at a time). This can cause a proportion of viewers to see coloured flickering and coloured rainbow like patterns in the images
