Slim bracket for VPL-HW40 – works with lens shift.
The Sony VPL-HW40 projector has an optical lens shift feature. This makes it possible to position the projector significantly higher (or lower) than the top of the screen, without causing any distortion to the shape of the projected image. When used with our low profile bracket for VPL-HW40 the projector will be perfectly horizontal and there is no need to use the projector’s keystone correction to get perfect image geometry. The VPL-HW40 ‘s lens shift control allows the image to be moved up or down so that it can be aligned perfectly with the position of the screen.
To put it another way there is no reason to have the bracket for VPL-HW40 hanging down from the cieling. Instead it can be positioned directly on the ceiling on our ultra low profile projector bracket for VPL-HW40.

Our bracket for VPL-HW40 places the projector almost directly below the ceiling and allows the installer to make fine adjustments to correct for ceilings which are not perfectly level.
