The garage itself posed a number of constraints (location of the consumer unit, water cylinder, heating controls, etc), which Richard worked through to provide us with a number of options. Slim bracket for VPL-VW270 – works with lens shift.
The Sony VPL-VW270 projector has an optical lens shift feature. This makes it possible to position the projector higher (or lower) than the top of the screen, without causing any distortion to the shape of the projected image. When used with our ultra low profile bracket for VPL-VW270 the projector can be perfectly horizontal and there will be no need to use keystone correction to get perfect image geometry. The VPL-VW270’s lens shift control allows the image to be moved up or down, left and right so that it can be aligned perfectly with the position of the screen.
To put it another way there is no reason to have the bracket for VPL-VW270 hanging down from the ceiling. Instead it can be positioned directly on the ceiling on our ultra low profile projector bracket for VPL-VW270.
